Introduction

Skyline Queenstown is home to one of New Zealand's largest ticketed attractions, the Skyline Luge, drawing over 900,000 visitors a year. Perched above the township overlooking Lake Wakatipu, Skyline embarked on a $300 million redevelopment covering a full rebuild of the upper and lower gondola terminals, a new multi-storey car parking building and a new restaurant facility. Naylor Love was appointed head contractor to deliver the project.

WRS has a long-standing relationship with Naylor Love and was engaged to deliver the roofing and cladding package across all stages of the redevelopment. On site since 2022, the installation has worked through diverse weather conditions, steep terrain, and complex sequencing and methodology. Project stages have been delivered on time and on budget to date.
